The RAC is actively recruiting automotive technicians for two specialized frontline operations located in Finsbury, Central London. Depending on professional preference and expertise, candidates can apply for either the Roadside Patrol team or the Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division. The Roadside Patrol path focuses on diagnosing and troubleshooting unexpected vehicle breakdowns on the open road. Alternatively, the Service, Maintenance & Repair path offers the structure of planned servicing and repairs, allowing technicians to deliver expert mechanical solutions directly where and when members require assistance. Both frontline roles require strong diagnostic capabilities using advanced electronic test equipment to determine root causes quickly.
