We are looking for a dedicated Mobile Vehicle Technician to become part of the SMR Division at the RAC, representing a modern approach to mobile vehicle maintenance and repair in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. While the organisation is widely recognized for roadside rescue, this specialized role focuses entirely on Service, Maintenance, and Repair (SMR) operations rather than breakdown recovery. The position operates on a full-time schedule consisting of 40 hours per week. Core working hours are established from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a requirement to work 1 in 4 Saturdays. The compensation package includes a competitive base salary of £40,178 per annum, with realistic on-target earnings scaling up to £52,000. Technicians can also take advantage of guaranteed overtime options to boost their base earnings, supplemented by further bonus schemes and overtime availability.
